Next week the National Safety Council will hold their annual conference. The Council does a lot for safety in addition to getting safety professionals and practitioners together once per year. Their Accident Facts is the most comprehensive and useful compilation of accident data in the US. 
Their award to "CEOs Who Get It" is a masterpiece of reinforcement for top execs to really understand and support their organization's safety efforts.
Both Shawn and I will be there doing a one-day workshop and giving two talks at concurrent sessions each. I hope you can join us and sincerely urge you and your organization to become members and support the work while you also benefit from it. In safety, we are truly all in this together!
