This is our final COVID-19 weekly update. The last four months have been difficult for many of us. Through the use of some new technology, we were able to pivot to supporting our clients remotely. However and understandably, many of our typical projects were placed on hold. This allowed all of us at ProAct Safety to refocus on helping companies safely manage their responses to shutting down, restarting, or operating during the new temporary normal. We have shared our observations and specific recommendations on our COVID-19 Resources page.
In early June, I was honored to be interviewed by Safety+Health Magazine and was asked, "Do you believe the COVID-19 pandemic will have a lasting impact on the field of occupational safety and health?" Thankfully, many organizations are nearing back to normal and are able to refocus on efforts pursuing safety excellence. As such, ProAct Safety is pivoting back to concentration on what our clients traditionally hire us for: strategy, culture, leadership development, and employee engagement.
There are many things we have learned since the beginning of March 2020, which will remain relevant going forward. I hope what we have shared has been useful to you. While we are not past the pandemic yet, business life returns to normal for many. Not only are the previous risks still present, new ones have been created, requiring new thinking, new approaches and additional support from senior leadership.
