A Sense of Vulnerability

The adage, "It won't happen to me," reflects the attitude and mindset of someone who has lost their sense of vulnerability. Realizing that accidents can happen to you and taking the proper precautions is what can keep you safe.

A Sense of Vulnerability Unfortunately, the same phenomenon is at play with the Coronavirus. Many thought such a world-wide health event could not or would not happen to us in our own country and we failed to take precautions. Our lives are always at risk from several sources and we should constantly assess our risks and prepare ourselves and our families to meet these risks head on. At work, safety is more than not having an accident, and at home safety is more than not having a pandemic.
